“ ممتاز / excellent” is a series centering around academic validation. I’m showcasing a graphic stylized portrait of my childhood self, collaged with elements that teachers in school used to praise student for their academic performance. And I use these elements to show how overwhelmingly good and/or bad the situation could be when all I could think of was getting high grades in school when I was younger.
